I have done so many things in my lifetime that whenever I tell someone about my life they usually believe I am lying.

Let’s face facts. Most people don’t do anything in their lifetimes. I don’t mean financially or even physically. I mean that most people are too afraid of failing to try anything. I can understand that. I fail constantly.

My rock career was a bust. My wrestling career ended when a rival promoter turned me in for running an “Outlaw” wrestling promotion. Not even my relationships are exempt.

At the end of the day I succeed because I fail. I don’t run from my fears. I embrace them and run hand in hand with them.

The Green Lantern movie got it right. It is not about being fearless as much as it is about overcoming your fears. Succeeding in the face of failure. Living life on your terms without giving in to peer pressure and expectations.

There are many, many, foods I can list. I can even tell you foods I no longer like now. I suppose the biggest change would be “Hot and Spicy” Chicken. I hated the stuff as a child. Now, as an adult I sometimes crave it. The reverse: Candy and Cakes. I will occasionally get a taste for something sweet, but it is not nearly as often as when I was younger.

What do you remember about your 18th birthday?

Not much. I remember expecting some huge change to occur, but it never did. It was just like any other day.

What is the worst nickname you’ve ever had?

Everyone calls me Lyn. When I was in college I had a really hot girlfriend, and I was quite thin. Because of this I was deemed “Skinny Pimp” by the football players. Later my little brothers took to calling me “Po Pimp” which didn’t have the same ring to it.

How old were you when you first picked up the guitar and what was the catalyst for wanting to?

I was 19 years old when I bought my first guitar. I had wanted one for years, but my mom would not get me one. She was certain that I would never use it. I think bands like Nirvana, Green Day, and Pearl Jam inspired me to want to play. I wanted my own band.

Do you like your driver’s license photo?

Not really. I loved my old Arkansas driver’s license. I had a great smile in it. I look like a zombie in my latest one. A smiling zombie.

My first crush was a girl in 1st grade named April. She moved from “Parts Unknown” and stole my heart. I would write her little letters expressing my “love” for her. My first real love was in college. I met a girl in my first semester and fell madly, deeply, truly with her.

If you were forced to, who would you want to trade places with for 24 hours?

No one. I am very content being me. I would love to experience different situations, but only as myself.

What talent do you wish you had?

I can do so many things that I think the better wish would be more time to perfect everything.

What are your idiosyncrasies, quirks? We all have them…

I used to be a member of the grammar police. It took a while, but I finally got that under control. (Laughing) Now, I just have to stop the desire to randomly sing to myself in public.
Do you ever cook out or barbeque? If so, what is your specialty?

I have never barbequed in my life. I love eating it, but I have just never had an opportunity to actually prepare it.
